Abstract

The aim is to determine the evolution of education, science and higher education in Timor-Leste from 2002 to 2023, through three factors: the evolution of public investment in two sectors, education and science; the evolution of legislation in the field of education and science; the chronological construction of the ecosystem of education, higher education and science in Timor-Leste. The aim is to characterise education, science and higher education in East Timor based on the relationship between these three fundamental points.
